Dear Mattias Carlsson (cc Michele Catanzaro), I would like to give you an early warning on a sensitive story that is currently in its final stages of publication in Nature. I copy this to the author of his investigative story. The Swedish readers may be interested in this, because it involves the Swedish Court of Appeal reacting on allegedly faked foreign arbitrational awards by the "Pan-European Arbitration Court (PESA)", which is the creation of the suing party. There are now four known cases, three in Sweden with the Swedish Court of Appeal and one in Germany with the Kammergericht. While we are waiting for the article in Nature to appear, it may be of interest to find out about earlier cases in Sweden and abroad. An example of similar nature happened in Poland some 4 years ago; see https://businessinsider.com.pl/wiadomosci/na-podstawie-fikcyjnych-wyrokow-wyludzili-ze-spolek-23-mln-zl-dziesiec-osob-uslyszalo/xzj1srf which is in Polish, but google translate works well on this. On your webpage, I noticed with interest the phrase "...and even changed the Swedish constitution". If it were to turn out that the Swedish Court of Appeal *must* react on any alleged arbitrational institution without the need to perform elementary reality checks, this will impose an unacceptable burden not only on the Swedish justice system, but also on the affected citizens who will has to invoke full legal assistance. Yours sincerely, Axel Brandenburg Brevduvegatan 4 169 72 Solna
