The Burgers equation, du/dt + u du/dx = nu d2u/dx2, is a relatively
simple and yet nonlinear equation that corresponds to the Navier Stokes
equation without pressure.
It is interesting because it has a nonlinear solution of the form
u = - u0 tanh (x/w), where w=nu/2u0 is the width of the shock.
Given that we have an analytic solution available, one can use this
case to study the accuracy of the solution with decreasing mesh size.
In some cases double precision will be needed.
